Laina’s Weekend Renovation (Turned Weekday) Part 2

Well, with only a few minor bumps, bruises, and paint stains I am happy to report the bathroom is coming along nicely and the reno has gone rather smooth for the most part! Let me take you for a first look tour: Let’s start with just how cute that German Sheppard head tilt is! And I made it back in one piece with all the materials in my car!

Below, if you look closely at the picture to the left, you can see the SMOOTH patch that was made on the textured wall. The photo on the right depicts my anger at the towel rack and my inability to take it down; so I ripped it out.

Here we have the old, dingy, beige, non renovated guest bath. The first job I tackled was the removal of the baseboards. I HAVE NEVER SEEN SO MUCH CAULK IN MY LIFE!!!! Nails were not needed. The caulk was holding on for dear life and I had to resort to cutting it into pieces in order to remove everything. (By the way, all that dust and dirt is UNDER clear caulk, I swear I clean my floors!).
