"No one can make you feel inferior without your consent."
-Eleanor Roosevelt.
In life we battle the good, the bad, and the ugly. Often times it is the bad and the ugly in which we remember the most; they tend to leave not lasting impressions, but scars upon our hearts and memories. I have come to realize as the world turns and years pass people are becoming less caring and more harsh; words slip from their lips with less thought often in an attempt to belittle and demean those they are speaking with.
The quote above has always been a favorite of mine. To me, it is about establishing a confidence within yourself, about not backing down. I have had a trying few weeks along with a few comments inside/outside of work that have bothered me leaving me questioning myself, my choices, and my abilities. Self doubt can lead to destruction and it took some time for me to remember no one can me feel inferior unless I allow them too. Even when you it seems as though you are barely keeping your head above water...Just Keep Swimming... push through and remember you have value, you have goals, and you will succeed.
